Overview

Villa Plumbago stands out as an example of a classic West-Indies villa that can easily compete with modern-day architecture.

Every area of the villa was designed to fully benefit from the breezes and views, and adorned with furniture of optimum comfort. Plumbago sits on top of a hill facing both east and west and offers all day sun and privacy.

A wide, marble stairway leads from the large garage underneath the property to the main level, but there is also an elevator. The over 60 ft long, heated infinity pool is the eye-catcher, especially when the sun sets in its horizon. The main house keeps the wind away from the rear terrace and there is also a terrace in front overlooking Flamands, on the other side, and which is a great place to hang out when the sun rises.

There is ample seating and lounging around and below the pool, as well as in and by the beautifully kept gardens around the property. Each bedroom has a garden or terrace with seating as well. There is a large dining table outside the kitchen on the main terrace. The main room can be fully air-conditioned, and houses the large, gourmet kitchen and the sitting room. There is a small office space in the back, which also serves as a TV room.

There are two bedrooms on the main levels and two on the level below. The first two are in the separate bungalows that align with the pool. The first master bedroom is situated by the end of the pool, and offers gorgeous ocean and sunset views, as well as a private garden and terrace. This large bedroom has a four-poster bed with mosquito netting, couches and chairs, a large dressing area and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and an outdoor shower. The first guest room is situated in a bungalow between the main house and the master bungalow. This room is slightly smaller and also comes with a four-poster bed, closet space and ensuite bathroom with shower.

The second master bedroom is situated directly below the first. It has a large, covered terrace and a beautiful garden out front. Like the previous rooms, this room also comes with a four-poster bed with mosquito netting, a large dressing and ensuite bathroom with shower. This room also has a separate sitting area that can be closed off and comes with a pull-out sleeper sofa, making this room ideal for parents with children. The second guest room is situated next to the second master in a separate unit. This room has two twin beds that can be made up as a European-king bed, closets and ensuite bathroom with shower. There is a small table with chairs just outside in the garden. All 4 bedrooms have U.S. and French satellite and Apple TV.

The lower bedrooms lead to a hallway to the garage, and a fully-equipped fitness room.

Plumbago is a perfect villa for a family, but will also suit couples vacationing together.
