Sunset Watch was named because of the spectacular sunsets that can be viewed every day from this villa.

This centrally air-conditioned 1 bedroom villa, with ceiling fans throughout, offers a romantic setting within a lush tropical garden with a large sundeck near a sparkling turquoise pool. Expansive views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel can be enjoyed from the dining room, living room, kitchen, bedroom, and even from the indoor spa shower.

Sunset Watch can be rented together with 1 Paradise Lane as a 3-bedroom villa that can accommodate up to 8 people. Please note that Sunset Watch and 1 Paradise Lane share a pool when both villas are occupied.

The new modern gourmet kitchen was designed to meet the needs of even the most discerning chef with lots of storage for groceries and a custom-designed white concrete countertop with a design, called “Virgin Island Confetti” which is embedded with a combination of concrete, locally recycled sea glass, and mother-of-pearl inlay. This kitchen allows you to prepare, cook, and clean up with ease.

There is an indoor dining table with seating for four adjacent to the kitchen. A large gas barbeque grill is available for grilling on the covered patio outside the living room. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea or an after-dinner drink at the bistro bar table on the open-air patio in the front. In addition, there is a spacious outdoor dining area with a table and 6 chairs near the pool with a 3 Burner Gas and Charcoal Grill for the exclusive use of guests of Sunset Watch. Enjoy incredible views of the sunset from almost anywhere in and around this villa.

The living area, which was added in 2018 when this villa was completely rebuilt, features plenty of seating to curl up and read books or watch television, A small collection of DVD movies, puzzles, and board games are available. An oversize hurricane-rated 13 ft wide 8 ft high sliding glass door brings the view of the blue sky and water into the villa. The credenza holds a 50” smart TV with access to Amazon music and movies and Apple movies, Wi-Fi, and cordless phones with a local number for local calls. The TV and internet are connected to fiber optic internet service from FLOW BVI offering high-speed internet and digital TV service with a large selection of channels and streaming capabilities. Connect music from any device to our portable waterproof Bluetooth speaker and play music or take it out to the pool and beach with its own travel bag.

Two-floor lamps are perfect for reading after dark or setting the mood in the evening. The sliding glass door opens from the living room to the magnificent Sir Francis Drake Channel of the Caribbean Sea. On the other side of the living room, another sliding door with curtains opens to your bedroom.

Enter the bedroom from either the kitchen or the living room. Draw the sliding door curtains at dawn to reveal a direct view of the morning ocean right from your bed. The bedroom features a king-size bed with a 14” thick gel memory foam mattress with luxurious bed linens and luxury pillows and matching, nightstands.

This beach-inspired bedroom is furnished with a white rustic dresser and a full-size closet with mirror doors. You can get to the bathroom, living room, and kitchen all directly from within the bedroom. And if you absolutely MUST do any work while you are in paradise, we have provided a desk and office chair. An all-in-one color laser printer/copier and fax machine is also available. A 32” smart TV is mounted on the wall in the bedroom.

Off the side of the bedroom is a spacious bathroom with double bowl vanity and a separate toilet room This bath is equipped with a Whirlpool 8-jet jacuzzi tub, an adjustable rainfall showerhead with an 8-jet spa panel (and detachable showerhead), and a lined with genuine mother-of-pearl tiles. Open the curtain in the tub to reveal an unrivaled view of the Caribbean. For a different experience, try the outdoor shower, accessible from both the bathroom and outside; also great for rinsing off when coming back from the beach or the pool. You will also find an iron, ironing board, wall safe, and hairdryer. Upon request, the housekeeper will do your laundry during your stay. At Sunset Watch, you are always just steps from a freshwater pool. The water temperature here is always refreshing and you can even keep an eye on the Caribbean Sea while sipping your drink in the pool. There are numerous recliners and intimate seating areas on the native stone patio around the pool which is bordered by a beautifully landscaped garden.

You also can sunbathe on a large, tiled deck adjacent to the pool which is reserved for the exclusive use of guests of Sunset Watch. With seating for 6, you can even invite your, friends, over. Catch the beautiful sunsets from the west-facing patio that overlooks the beach and the entire Sir Francis Drake Channel. The patio includes dining furniture, retractable awnings, and sunbathing lounge chairs.

Guests can slip down a native stone pathway and, within a few minutes, sink their toes into the sands of the isolated Nail Bay Beach immediately below on Virgin Gorda's western shore. You have access to as well to a 1,600 sq. ft of private white sandy beach with 125 feet of beachfront. A hammock welcomes you to lounge on this sandy beach. Or relax on the outdoor seating next to a picnic table to enjoy a picnic in comfort.

This stone pathway also connects the villa to the sandy beach and the Caribbean Sea replete with marine life. Small fish dart between swaying corals and natural rock pools. A pile of boulders on one end of the beach offers the perfect place to climb, play, or share a meal and a bottle of champagne. Create your own beach adventure. Arguably, some of the best snorkeling in Virgin Gorda is below Sunset Watch. Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, and fins are available at no cost. Or you can use one of the property’s kayaks to explore the waterfront or even the Dog Islands.

All guests staying at Sunset Watch have complimentary access to all the facilities of Nail Bay Sports Club including the outdoor tennis court, indoor squash court, air-conditioned gym, and indoor ping pong room. Sunset Watch is an easy walking distance of the beautiful swim-up bar and pool next to the highly acclaimed Sugar Cane Restaurant which has an amazing sunset view.
